There are a few other people with that name, most noteworthy in Brazil, but we will immediately make clear that these individuals bear no relation to the Andre Leite Alves, his activities, and his “business” that this website will present to you.

This site is about Andre Leite Alves from Rochester New York. The owner of Aware Bear (and formerly AA Computers) and a self-proclaimed “professional” wedding photographer and computer “repair” and maintenance “expert” that also “designs” websites and “installs” home theaters, will “program” your remote controls for you, will “recycle” your old computer equipment, claims to have 10+ years of “experience” and claims to be a B.S. graduate of RIT. class of 2001 (School of Applied Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology 1997-2001) and has been using the following mailing addresses. Amongst all the many other things Andre Leite Alves claims to be that he is not.

Why is there an Andre Leite Alves website like this one?

This website came about as a result of image theft, copyright infringement committed and admitted to by Andre Leite Alves. Unfortunately it did not end there and Andre’s illegal activities spawned a whole range of things that includes highly unprofessional conduct, plain and blatant lying and perjury. This website will explain and highlight all these things, in detail.

After communicating with, and taking legal action against, Andre Leite Alves of Aware Bear Computers it became clear that his blatant copyright violations should be exposed and certain facts clarified. This led to the following blog post that Andre Leite Alves did not appeared to pleased with, seeing as he attempted to get the post removed using more lies combined with lack of legal assistance and a complete misunderstanding of the law. This lead to another blog post.

Due to the immense popularity of the site that published these posts it did not take long for various people and businesses in the Rochester community to contact the author with more information on Andre Leite Alves and AwareBear Computers, some requesting that certain details not be published, others asking for their experiences to be made public. Because the author of the original blog posts that started this whole information stream does not wish his site to become overloaded with material about what he calls a “low life” this site was created as a more centralized and focused repository of “all things Alves”.

Why the satire?

While the unprofessional behavior of Andre Leite Alves and Aware Bear Computers is most serious and by no means a laughing matter, the activities of Andre has been such that it is very hard NOT to make fun of it and turn it into cynical and satirical entertainment for the world to see. From the original blog posts and their comments it is quit e clear that Andre (often labeled as a clown) provides fun and laughter for a large following, a growing following. It is, of course, ultimately Andre himself who is creating that entertainment, especially by sending off so-called “legal” demands in which he unmistakably shows his ineptitude, incompetence, and general feeling of delusional entitlement that we believe forms his world view. And that’s one worth sharing!
